Walk-In Clinic
Sickness can happen at any time. That's why the Madelia Community Hospital & Clinic now offers after-hours care for patients that need non-emergency care after normal business hours. No appointment is necessary.
Urgent Care Hours:
8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, including weekends and holidays.
Urgent Care will be offered in the Clinic during regular Clinic hours. and in the
Hospital after Clinic hours including weekends and holidays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Urgent Care should be used for simple non-emergency visits
with minimal tests or treatment:
- Bronchitis
- Congestion
- Cold/flu/fever
- Cough/sore throat
- Cuts/lacerations 2.5 cenitmeters or smaller
- Diarrhea
- Ear ache
- Infections
- Insect bites
- Minor burns
- Nausea, vomiting
- Rashes
- Sprains
If you receive the following treatments, for example, you will be considered an Emergency Room patient:
- IV's
- CT Scan
- Cuts/Lacerations 2.6 centimeters or larger
- Arrival by ambulance
- Admission to the hospital
- Chest Pains
